The winemaking traditions of the Machanyan family began in a small village called Aylur near Van. The village’s name originates from the river Alluria, which flowed around it.
Inspired by our family’s centuries-old winemaking traditions, we created Alluria wine from the grape varieties “Haghtanak” and “Karmrahyut,” grown in our own vineyards. The hot climate and sandy, clay soil of St. Echmiadzin in the Ararat Valley yield a perfect harvest, ensuring the high quality and unique flavor of this wine, along with the love and warmth from our hearts.
All our wines are produced using traditional methods with spontaneous fermentation, meaning no commercial yeasts are added.
