Areni โ 50%, Khndoghni โ 50%. Production method: Traditional vinification in stainless steel tanks with separate fermentation, followed by 12 months of maturation of the blend in classic Caucasian oak barrels. The Areni variety is grown in the southern wine region of Vayots Dzor, in the village of Khachik, at over 1,700 meters above sea level. The color is intense, bright, clear, dark ruby-ochre with a shiny rim. Aroma: pronounced peppery notes are clearly expressed, especially freshly ground black pepper, bright bay leaf, and intriguing hints of dried mint. Elegant nuances of oak aging as well as notes of black fruits are distinctly perceptible. The taste is well-balanced, with round and soft tannins and a long-lasting finish on the palate.
