Grape Varieties - Kangun (70%) Rkatsiteli (30%)
“Kangun” in Armenian, means “sturdy”. It is a white variety used for white wines and cognac. It has very expressive white fruit, wild flower, honey and quince aromas. Its potential for elegant white wines is very promising and to be explored further.
Vinification and Aging
The wine is made with a selective harvest, followed by a primary fermentation, flotation, clarification and filtration.
The wine’s translucency encompasses elegant textures, defined flavors, and a well-balanced structure. The grape’s maturation on the estate’s sunblessed hills helps the wine capture the essence of the variety, distinct aromas of banana and other tropical fruits. The palate has crisp minerality.
